Living up ahead

Toddy making is one of the livelihoods for the people of India. It is appeared mostly in the villages. People working in the fields enjoy having toddy which keeps their body cool for the morning sun temperatures. But it is strictly not recommended for health as most of the toddy makers add some drug to attract people to them.

The man you are looking in the photo is a toddy maker seen drawing toddy from the palm tree. I asked him and knew the way how toddy was made. He said that he was making pure toddy for the past ten years and also expressed his displeasure for the process of adding drug to toddy. He said that it was good for health and keeps body cool under sun. I think he's still living up ahead compared to all the drug mixed toddy makers. I caught this snap when I went to my grandpa's home for the semester holidays.
