These are the award winning rangolis in the competitions held on the 'sankranthi' festival. The noticable fact is that most of the participants are middle aged women and some teenage & young girls. I was afraid if the Indian culture and tradition ends with our generation. The interesting fact is that the award was given for a young girl's rangoli which then gave me a great sigh of relief.
